Sexual Offender Registry

Pursuant to new legislation, effective October 27, 2002, Rhodes will be notified when an individual who is registered in Tennessee as a sex offender enrolls as a student or begins work as a volunteer on the campus. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and/or the Memphis Police Department is responsible for notifying the Rhodes Campus Safety Department. Registered sex offenders have ten (10) days to notify TBI by completing a TBI Sexual Offender Registration/Monitoring Form and having it delivered to TBI.

At this time, neither TBI nor MPD have notified Rhodes Campus Safety of any registered sex offenders.
